Final Preview: All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship

At 12:30 am Sydney time Monday morning the Galway Tribesman will be looking for back-to-back All-Irelands when they go up against the Treaty men of Limerick at Croke Park in the championship decider.

The Tribesman have been undefeated this season and, although their performances have been inconsistent, it is their ability to go on scoring blitzes which has remained key to their success.

They will meet a stern test from the Shannonsiders, whose physical conditioning is a testament to their highly regarded coach Joe O’Connor who worked with the 2013 All-Ireland winning Clare team.

Whatever the outcome we are lucky to be hosting the Tribesman at Spotless Stadium as part of the the Magners Sydney Irish Festival where they will be set to take on the reigning 2018 Allianz League Champions, Kilkenny. This will be certainly more than just an exhibition with the winner receiving direct entry into the 2020 incarnation of the tournament and being awarded the coveted Wild Geese Trophy.
