Can’t have an Irish festival without dancing. Well, the Magners Sydney Irish Festival has plenty of that. We’ll be hosting some of the best and most talented Irish dancers from the local Irish Dance schools. Make sure you catch them on Saturday afternoon on the Davis Amphitheatre Family Stage. We’ve so excited to have them provide us with an experience of such an iconic element of Irish culture. You never know, you or a family member might just get hooked!

Joining us on Saturday will be Carey South West Academy of Irish Dancing who are located in Wollongong and Menai. They have a long history of producing many State and National champions as well as some amazing results at International competitions. We’re really excited to see some of their National champions at the festival.

We’ll have a troupe from the Cox Academy of Irish Dance which was established in 2012 on the North Shore. They cater for beginners to advanced dancers of all ages and provide a fun and nurturing environment for Irish dancers of all levels. They offer something for everyone, from a beginner class once a week to students working towards a State, National and World Championship. Children enjoy classes in a social environment while building their strength, stamina and confidence under a qualified professional.

We’ll also be hosting, the Fiona Gaye Moore Academy of Irish Dance (FGMA) located in Sydney’s Southwest. They focus on fostering and nurturing individuals in Irish Dance in a controlled and encouraging environment. With teachers who are committed to providing the best for each individual, FGMA offers the tools and support necessary for their students to reach their full potential on and off the stage.

With performances all afternoon on Saturday, catching the Irish dancers on the Davis Amphitheatre Family Stage is a must for anyone joining us for the Magners Sydney Irish Festival.
